Tatu City, Stanbic Bank partner to boost home ownership
NAIROBI, Kenya, May 24 – Tatu City and Stanbic Bank Kenya have entered a partnership aimed at simplifying home ownership for Kenyans and diaspora investors through accessible property financing options.
Under the agreement, buyers can access up to 105 percent financing for homes valued at Sh10.5 million, with a fixed interest rate of 9.5 percent, supported by the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company.
The financing applies to properties at Tatu City and its sister developments, Oaklands and Zuri Springs.
Tatu City Sales Director Erskine Kiliru said the collaboration will ease access to property and streamline the buying process from application to title deed.
Stanbic Bank’s Head of Product, Mwaura Mwangi, said the initiative aligns with the bank’s efforts to promote wealth creation through home ownership, describing the offer as both affordable and transformative.
Prices at the developments start from Sh2.8 million, with over 2,000 title deeds already issued.
Tatu City, located near Nairobi, houses over 100 companies and more than 25,000 residents and workers.
