Securex South Africa 2025 Set To Unpack The Future of Security

Securex South Africa has shown consistent year-on-year growth, both in exhibitor numbers and visitor attendance

As the world continuously adopts new technologies and increases its exposure to both physical and digital threats, the demand for smarter and more resilient security solutions continues to grow. Securex South Africa 2025 looks to shine a light on this demand in tech providers for every sector.

Securex South Africa has shown consistent year-on-year growth, both in exhibitor numbers and visitor attendance. This year’s event centres on delivering practical, scalable, and future-ready security solutions for businesses across sectors. While traditional security systems remain a cornerstone, there is a notable focus on the convergence of physical and digital security.

This year’s event centres on delivering practical, scalable, and future-ready security solutions for businesses across sectors. It features various partners and exhibitors including 3Dtracking, Digit FMS, Fidelity Service Group, SVI, REVA Specialised Vehicles, Hikvision, Dahua and PSiRA.

One of the exhibitors for this year’s event, 3Dtracking, spoke on the upcoming event, highlighting the part the company is playing in filling the demand for smarter security solutions.

“We will be showcasing the latest version of our telematics platform, packed with new features that we recently rolled out, and what I’m really excited about is that we are offering a sneak peek at the next generation of our fleet management platform’s user interface (UI) and user experience,” said Roydon Michael, CEO of 3Dtracking.

3Dtracking supports providers of security-related telematics services by delivering powerful tools that provide an enhanced layer of monitoring and control over vehicles. These include real-time tracking combined with location-based monitoring, allowing users to receive real-time alerts when vehicles or drivers meet any of the user-created criteria.

“3Dtracking works with several partners in the security-focused sector, including some internationally-recognised security brands, whose focus spans personal protection, asset tracking, and the transportation of high-value goods. We have seen, and expect to continue seeing, significant growth in this area as the 3Dtracking platform develops even further into the future,” Michael added.

Speaking on the expectations for the event, Mark Anderson, the Portfolio Director of Specialised Exhibitions, said that security systems are crucial for the digital transformation journey.

“While traditional security systems remain a cornerstone, there is a notable focus on the convergence of physical and digital security. Cybersecurity, access control integration, and smart surveillance are key themes, as well as resilience planning in the face of emerging risks. We are also emphasising education, with a robust free-to-attend seminar theatre programme and expert-led content designed to equip security managers, CIOs and facilities professionals with actionable insights,” said Anderson.
